The berries need a little extra time to soak up the sunshine, sweeten up, and turn from pink to perfect. 🍓☀️

As we’ve mentioned before, this year’s strawberry season is likely to be a shorter than usual, so if strawberry picking is still on your to-do list, don’t wait too long.

Picking is still going well! Saturday we heard many comments such as “Beautiful berries!”, “So much fun!”, and “I’ll be coming back for more!”. Then there were the people who took their berries home and made wonderful creations; “I’m up to my ears in fabulous berries! 12 jars of jam ready for the freezer. Next…. freeze the rest. So yummy! 🍓”.

So don’t put it off until next Saturday. Grab a friend, bring the kids, or make it a date night and come pick with us this week.

Did you know…evening picking is one of the best-kept secrets of strawberry season? The sun is lower, the temperatures are cooler, and the Patch is a beautiful place to spend a summer evening. 💛
