It’s hard to believe, but we’re already over halfway through asparagus season here at the Patch!  🌱

Asparagus season always flies by in the blink of an eye — one minute we’re waiting for the first spear to emerge, and the next thing we know we’re wondering where May went. 😄

But while asparagus has been keeping us busy… something else has us especially excited right now:

🍓 STRAWBERRIES ARE ON THE VINE! 🍓

They’re still small and green for now, but after all the cold nights, frost protection, and weather watching this spring, we’re feeling incredibly thankful. The blossoms made it through, the plants are looking beautiful, and if all continues to go well, strawberry season is only a couple short weeks away. 💛

Which means it may be time to start preparing yourselves…

There’s just something special about strawberry season at the Patch — sunshine, berry-stained fingers, kids running through the rows, and filling baskets with beautiful berries alongside family and friends. We truly can’t wait to welcome you back out to the farm soon.

📱Please call ahead to place an order if you’re wanting more than 10#s of either rhubarb or asparagus.
🚫 Sorry, there are no pick-your-own activities available at the Patch currently. Your next chance to pick-your-own is strawberry season, which will begin sometime in mid to late June.

Want to meet us at the market?
We bring all our great products to the Mt. Horeb Farmers Market Thursday evenings from 3-6:30p as well as to the Mineral Point Market Saturday mornings from 8:30-11a.
